Se il Regno Unito non tutelasse i diritti dei lavoratori UE dopo la Brexit sarebbe devastante per l'accademia, è quanto hanno scritto decine di presidi universitari in una lettera indirizzata alla Camera dei Comuni. Il personale europeo "è preoccupato, qualcuno disperato, alcuni hanno già programmato di andarsene" si legge nella lettera firmata dal vice-Rettore Louise Richardson e altri 35 presidi. La lettera è stata pubblicata in vista del voto previsto per lunedì su un emendamento che garantisce ai cittadini UE che vivono nel Regno Unito il diritto a restare nel paese anche dopo la Brexit.
