Lo psicologo e sessuologo Roberto Quattrini, che selezionerà i candidati, ha contribuito alla bozza della proposta di legge sulla nuova professione presentata recentemente in Parlamento. Il ruolo dell'assistente sessuale sarà quello di aiutare le persone con disabilità ad imparare a raggiungere una soddisfazione sessuale in una maniera adatta alle proprie esigenze.
