Il 22% degli omosessuali e il 25% delle lesbiche in Olanda di tanto in tanto si sente insicuro nel proprio quartiere, a differenza del 14% e del 22% di eterosessuali rispettivamente uomini e donne. E' quanto emerge dai dati raccolti nel 2013 e presentati la scorsa settimana da Statistics Netherlands. Omosessuali e lesbiche sperimentano inoltre problemi con giovani perditempo e residenti locali. Il membro della Camera dei Rappresentanti Ahmed Marcouch (Partito Laburista), ha presentato un'interrogazione parlamentare sulla questione al Ministro della Sicurezza e della Giustizia Ivo Opstelten.
