Il 22 agosto il rappresentante di HRMI Jūratė Guzevičiūtė ha partecipato ad un'audizione alla Corte di Trakai e, durante il processo per incitamento all'odio, ha fornito prove sulla libertà di espressione, la sua restrizione, sui discorsi di incitamento all'odio e i crimini di odio. L'imputata era a processo per un commento ad un articolo di un portale, sostenendo la distruzione fisica di un gruppo di persone per il loro orientamento sessuale. La corte non ha riscontrato l'odio fomentato nella frase "essi devono essere distrutti, il prima possibile" o in altre simili frasi, assolvendola.
