"Non finanziamo la costruzione di recinzioni ai confini", ha dichiarato un portavoce della Commissione Europea. Il Primo Ministro ungherese Viktor Orbán la scorsa settimana ha chiesto all'UE di finanziare metà degli 800 milioni che il governo dice di aver speso per costruire una recinzione al confine a sud. Nella sua risposta la CE ha parlato di solidarietà e ricordato il rifiuto dell'Ungheria di accogliere richiedenti asilo: "Tutti gli stati membri devono essere pronti a contribuire. La solidarietà non è un menù alla carta in cui tu puoi scegliere un piatto" - ha aggiunto il portavoce CE.
