Cresce l'allarme per la campagna di propaganda russa e l'UE ha dichiarato che spenderà 1.1 milioni di euro per formare i diplomatici incaricati di monitorare le fake news. I fondi, insieme ai quasi 4 milioni di euro in spese correlate, saranno stanziati nel budget del prossimo anno. "Siamo consapevoli che la disinformazione è un rischio per l'UE e siamo pronti a combatterla", ha dichiarato a EUobserver Siegfried Muresan, l'europarlamentare incaricato della questione.
