Secondo rapporti riservati, il Consiglio della Magistratura Olandese teme che nel paese possa registrarsi una carenza di 227 giudici nei prossimi due anni. Si tratta di un numero significativo, considerando che al momento il numero complessivo dei giudici in servizio è di 2,360.

Non è possibile formare giudici così rapidamente da coprire i ruoli vacanti, soprattutto perché il numero dei candidati non è sufficiente.

Il Consiglio della Magistratura ha dichiarato che sta esaminando le capacità strutturali e che le carenze citate nei rapporti non sono certe.
