Un tribunale polacco ha ordinato la detenzione cautelare per un indagato, identificato come XY, accusato di aver usato documenti falsi. Il tribunale ha basato la sua decisione sul presupposto che il sospettato abbia commesso il reato, violando così il principio della presunzione di innocenza. L'avvocato di XY ha fatto appello, ma prima dell'udienza il tribunale ha prolungato la detenzione cautelare di altri due mesi. "Questa decisione solleva seri dubbi sulla tutela dei diritti previsti dalla CEDU," ha dichiarato Piotr Kubaszewski, legale della Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights.
