Un nuovo pacchetto di riforme legislative in Bulgaria ha ad oggetto gli interrogatori dei bambini in tribunale, le udienze delle vittime di reati violenti, l'introduzione della giustizia riparativa e della mediazione nei procedimenti penali, oltre a strumenti per tutelare le vittime di reati ed estendere i loro diritti. Tra le novità ci sono le cosiddette "stanze blu" in cui condurre e registrare interrogatori in forma privata dei giovani testimoni di vittime di reati violenti. Il Ministro della Giustizia ha pubblicato il pacchetto di modifiche alle norme di legge sul suo sito il 10 febbraio.
