La Plataforma Ciudadana contra la Islamofobia (Piattaforma dei Cittadini contro l'Islamofobia) ha appena pubblicato il suo Rapporto Annuale sull'Islamofobia in Spagna. Nel 2016, l'organizzazione ha registrato 573 episodi correlati all'Islamofobia, il 14.14% dei quali sono atti contro donne, il 4.01% contro bambini, il 12.57% contro rifugiati e il 6.63% contro non-musulmani. Si è registrato anche un preoccupante incremento del 106.12% del numero complessivo di episodi registrati dallo stesso organismo nel 2015.
