Degli stimati 3,782 migranti che vivono nel campo sull'isola, il 39% è stato testimone di morti, l'87% delle quali avvenute per autolesionismo o suicidio. Il rapporto, realizzato da Refugee Rights Data Project, contiene anche il racconto particolarmente inquietante di un uomo che ha assistito alla scena di un altro uomo che si è dato fuoco. Per le associazioni sull'isola la situazione nei campi ha raggiunto il "limite" e servono urgentemente nuovi servizi.
