Un polacco, M.K., è finito in carcere dopo che un tribunale ha erroneamente concluso che l'uomo aveva commesso un reato durante la sospensione condizionale di un'altra pena. Casualmente, il vero autore era suo omonimo. L'Avvocatura di Stato non ha riscontrato alcuna giustificazione per pagare i danni all'uomo per i 4 mesi trascorsi in carcere. Secondo l'Avvocatura, M.K., era disoccupato e senza fissa dimora e quindi mandarlo in carcere non avrebbe peggiorato la sua situazione. Un tribunale ha ora ribaltato la sentenza e previsto un risarcimento di 80,000 PLN (circa 18,000 euro) a M.K.
