Secondo la Corte di Cassazione italiana il risarcimento di 20,000 euro all'uomo a cui era stata sospesa la patente per aver detto apertamente di essere gay è troppo basso. L'uomo aveva subito una forte discriminazione dopo aver dichiarato la sua omosessualità durante i test di routine della visita militare. Un ufficiale dell'esercito aveva trasmesso questa informazione alla motorizzazione, la quale aveva poi sospeso la patente dell'uomo.
