Le Nazioni Unite hanno annunciato un nuovo programma di formazione online obbligatoria per tutto il personale militare e civile per combattere lo sfruttamento e la violenza sessuale. Il programma rientra tra i più ampi sforzi messi in atto all'organismo internazionale per realizzare una serie di misure correttive e preventive, a seguito delle numerose denunce relative a tali comportamenti, anche tra le file delle sue forze di pace. Il programma integra la formazione iniziale che al momento è competenza dei singoli stati membri.
