La Lega Belga per i Diritti Umani (LDH) e altri tre organismi hanno presentato un ricorso contro le nuove disposizioni scolastiche in Belgio, che, secondo loro, violerebbero il diritto all'istruzione. In base ad alcune di queste disposizioni, i bambini che arrivano tardi all'asilo o alla scuola primaria per quattro volte in un anno saranno sospesi da scuola per mezza giornata. Oltre a mettere in dubbio la legittimità di tali disposizioni, LDH ritiene che i bambini non dovrebbero essere penalizzati per le azioni di cui sono responsabili i loro genitori.
