Il movimento di protesta belga Associazione Costituente si è unito alla Lega per i Diritti Umani e ad altre ONG nel tentativo di consapevolizzare la Corte Costituzionale sull'anti-costituzionalità della legge che approva il Fiscal Compact (ufficialmente, il Trattato su Stabilità, Coordinamento e Governance nell'Unione Economica e Monetaria), che è stato approvato dal Parlamento Belga. Una class action è stata avviata in reazione a questa legge, che mette in discussione la legislazione sul rispetto e il progresso dei diritti economici, sociali e culturali.
