Ahmed Amashah è l'ultima persona ad aver parlato delle condizioni della sua detenzione in Egitto, cui è stato sottoposto senza alcuna accusa formale contro di lui. Nei primi tre mesi del 2017, in Egitto 871 persone, tra cui 27 minori, sono state arrestate, 50 assassinate e 41 condannate a morte.
