"La certezza del recupero. I costi del carcere e il valore delle misure alternative", un report realizzato da un gruppo di organizzazioni di volontariato sulle tematiche carcerarie, è stato presentato il 17 dicembre a Roma. Secondo il report occorrerebbe potenziare le misure alternative, dal momento che spostando 10,000 detenuti in misura alternativa il sistema penitenziario risparmierebbe 577,000 euro al giorno e si potrebbero creare 1,500 nuovi posti di lavoro per la gestione delle strutture di accoglienza.
