Ogni anno i gruppi di destra bulgari celebrano il generale Hristo Lukov, comandante della prima guerra mondiale e leader della Legione nazionale bulgara, un'organizzazione di estrema destra formata soprattutto da giovani. Gli attivisti per i diritti umani si oppongono a eventi pubblici che utilizzano il patriottismo per scopi anti-democratici. Molti dei partecipanti alla "marcia Lukov" sono espliciti sostenitori del neo-nazismo. L'edizione di quest'anno si è svolta sabato 14 febbraio e, come nel 2014, senza il permesso del Comune. La marcia è stata preceduta da una protesta anti-fascista.
