Durante la loro visita in Polonia, i delegati della Commissione Venezia hanno raccolto informazioni e opinioni sulle modifiche alla Legge sulla Corte Costituzionale. La Commissione ha sfruttato la visita, avvenuta l'8 e 9 febbraio, per parlare con il ministro della giustizia, i giudici della Corte Costituzionale, l'ombudsman, rappresentanti di ONG, tra cui l'Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights. I delegati della Commissione sono stati invitati in Polonia dal ministro degli esteri, il quale ha promesso che il governo polacco terrà in considerazione le obiezioni della Commissione alle riforme.
