Il Parlamento Italiano ha approvato una nuova legge che prevede che i migranti senza documenti regolari non possono essere trattenuti in un CIE (Centro di Identificazione ed Espulsione) per più di 90 giorni. Secondo la legge precedente, il termine massimo era di 18 mesi. Con le nuove disposizioni, il termine massimo di permanenza in un CIE è di 30 giorni se il migrante ha già trascorso 90 giorni in carcere.
