C'è un'emergenza in Italia: nella prima settimana di ottobre, nell'arco di 48 ore, 11,000 migranti sono stati salvati nel Mediterraneo dalla Marina Italiana e dalle ONG, tra cui Medici Senza Frontiere. Sono stati estratti dall'acqua 28 corpi senza vita. Nel 2016 sono arrivate oltre 132,000 persone nelle coste italiane e soltanto il 40% di loro ha ottenuto lo status di rifugiato. Questa è solo una piccola parte del problema perché chi non viene riconosciuto come rifugiato diventa invisibile.
