Il rapporto sulla situazione dei diritti umani in Italia sarà esaminato dal Comitato Diritti Umani dell'ONU il 9 e 10 marzo, quando il Comitato valuterà i progressi del paese nell'implementare il Patto Internazionale sui Diritti Civili e Politici. La Coalizione Italiana Libertà e Diritti civili e Antigone si trovano a Ginevra a presentare il loro rapporto ombra al Comitato. Il rapporto affronta questioni importanti, come la legge sulla cittadinanza, la stepchild adoption, le espulsioni di massa dei migranti e la questione dei 48 sudanesi rimpatriati.
