80,000 persone hanno manifestato di fronte al Parlamento di Budapest ieri, 9 aprile, in supporto alla Central European University sostenuta da Soros, che rischia la chiusura a causa di una nuova legge approvata dal governo Orbán. Studenti e personale universitario, insieme a cittadini di ogni età hanno espresso le loro preoccupazioni non solo per la libertà accademica, ma anche per le recenti minacce alle organizzazioni indipendenti per i diritti umani. Gli organizzatori dell'evento hanno srotolato 15 metri di carta con su indicati i nomi di solo alcune delle persone che sostengono la CEU.
