Centinaia di persone hanno sfilato nel centro di Priština in occasione del primo Gay Pride della storia del Kosovo. La manifestazione è stata sottoposta a un'imponente protezione della polizia e preparata in gran segreto perché gli organizzatori volevano evitare possibili incidenti. Le strade di Priština sono state invase da bandiere arcobaleno e gli organizzatori LGBT hanno chiesto ai kosovari di sconfiggere l'omofobia e di rispettare - insieme alle istituzioni nazionali - i diritti della comunità LGBT. L'orientamento sessuale, hanno dichiarato, non deve essere causa di discriminazione.
