Il Servizio Sanitario Nazionale Ungherese e l'Ordine dei Medici hanno respinto la richiesta di HCLU di avere i dati sul numero di infezioni contratte in ospedale. In risposta, HCLU si è rivolta al tribunale per ottenere la pubblicazione di questi dati. L'attenzione sulla questione è stata sollevata da un post del gruppo Facebook 1001 Medici Senza Mance, secondo cui ogni anno in Ungheria morirebbero molte più persone per infezioni contratte in ospedale che per incidenti d'auto. Tale commento dimostra che il numero effettivo di infezioni contratte in ospedale non è noto in Ungheria.
