5 bambini afgani sono scappati da un centro per minori richiedenti asilo in Grecia e adesso potrebbero trovarsi in Italia. La loro fuga solleva attenzione sui problemi che affliggono il centro altrimenti tranquillo immerso tra gli ulivi alla periferia di Atene. L'amministrazione è così lenta nel ricongiungere i bambini con le loro famiglie in altri stati UE che i bambini hanno perso la speranza. Inoltre, secondo un rapporto della Commissione Europea del 2016 le autorità greche non indagano se un bambino ha una famiglia in un altro stato UE, quindi l'onere della prova ricade sul bambino.
