Nel 2014 sono state registrate 199 aggressioni a rifugiati in Germania. Tra queste, incitamento all'odio, danni penali e violenze. In un'inchiesta congiunta, giornalisti di CORRECTIV e Spiegel Online hanno analizzato 157 casi. I risultati sono sintetizzati in quattro grafici: i sospetti sono stati identificati soltanto in 50 casi; di questi 50, soltanto 15 si sono trasformati in condanne, mentre gli altri sono stati in gran parte archiviati. In 107 casi, non ci sono sospetti. Delle 199 aggressioni, 172 sono ufficialmente considerate come politiche. Le aggressioni si sono impennate nel 2015.
