Nonostante le proteste le famiglie richiedenti asilo nel centro di accoglienza di Almeto devono andarsene, secondo il Segretario di Stato per la Sicurezza e Giustizia Klaas Dijkhoff, perché il centro sarà ristrutturato. Alcuni parlamentari hanno citato un rapporto inviato a Dijkhoff dall'organizzazione Bambini nei Centri di Accoglienza, che mostra come il trasferimento sarebbe traumatico per i bambini. 108 abitanti, tra cui 52 bambini, hanno avviato un'azione legale contro Dijkhoff. Il tribunale deciderà il 4 settembre se la sede può essere trasformata. Fino allora l'allontanamento è sospeso.
