Un nuovo rapporto rivela che l'Europa sta diventando il centro mondiale delle immagini e dei video sull'abuso sessuale nei confronti di minori. Il rapporto annuale dell'Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) ha rivelato che il 60% del materiale pedo-pornografico mondiale si trova in Europa, con l'Olanda in cima alla lista dei paesi europei. I risultati evidenziano un cambiamento drastico e improvviso: nel 2015, il 57% circa delle pagine web a contenuto pedo-pornografico erano situate nel Nord America; a fine 2016 questo dato è sceso al 37%, e la quota maggioritaria ora si trova in Europa.
