Durante la visita alle stazioni di frontiera di Ignalina e Vilnius, l'Ombudsman del Seimas (Parlamento) Augustinias Normantas ha scoperto significative violazioni di diritti umani. Ha rilevato che la detenzione di prigionieri non è stata registrata nei Registri delle Persone Consegnate alla Stazione, e che persone trattenute non erano state informate della videosorveglianza del luogo. Tuttavia, l'Ombudsman ha anche sottolineato che il Servizio di Guardia del Confine di Stato ha risposto prontamente alle accuse - molti problemi saranno risolti entro la fine dell'anno, altri entro l'estate 2015.
