Le autorità giudiziarie francesi stanno processando cinque ragazzi (tra i 15 e i 17 anni) che hanno scoperchiato circa 250 tombe ebraiche e distrutto un monumento alle vittime dell'Olocausto in un cimitero di Sarre-Union, in Alsazia. Secondo il pubblico ministero Philippe Vannier, i ragazzi avevano un chiaro movente antisemita. Mentre profanavano le tombe cantavano slogan come "Heil Hitler," "Sieg Heil," "sporchi ebrei" e "sporca razza." La polizia ha rintracciato i sospetti grazie al fatto che uno di loro si è costituito presso la stazione di polizia incriminando gli altri quattro.
