Tvrdik è una voce importante per gli investimenti cinesi e ha contribuito a creare collegamenti aerei diretti tra Praga e Beijing e Shanghai, rendendo il paese più accessibile ai turisti cinesi. Le principali compagnie con interessi in Cina sono sponsor delle celebrazioni. Amnesty International intende presentare una petizione contro la violazione dei diritti umani.
