Un'azione penale contro 1,600 utenti Facebook sarà avviata se la Procura della Repubblica Ungherese sarà determinata a portare avanti la sua decisione. Tutto è scoppiato con un post di un utente anonimo che ha accusato di corruzione il precedente sindaco della città di Siófok. Il sindaco, Árpád Balázs, lo ha citato in giudizio. Non conoscendo l'identità dell'autore, la denuncia è stata rivolta a tutti gli utenti - principalmente politici di opposizione e cittadini - che hanno condiviso il post. Il caso è un buon esempio di incongruenza delle norme ungheresi in vigore sulla libertà di parola.
