L'organizzazione internazionale per i diritti umani FIDH ha pubblicato un nuovo rapporto in cui descrive gli attacchi governativi agli standard democratici e ai diritti fondamentali. Tutto questo avviene da quando il Primo Ministro Viktor Orbán è salito al potere nel 2010. FIDH chiede al governo di fermare questa aggressione e all'Unione Europea di intervenire prontamente, attivando l'Articolo 7 del Trattato sull'Unione Europea (TEU), che potrebbe portare alla sospensione dei diritti dell'Ungheria previsti dal trattato.
