La Corte regionale di Vilnius ha stabilito che l'intercettazione ad operatori di BNS (agenzia stampa) era ingiustificata. Il tribunale ha ammesso l'appello di 10 operatori BNS e ha respinto la decisione della Corte distrettuale di Vilnius. Secondo i giudici, l'autorizzazione ad intercettare era stata data troppo frettolosamente, subito dopo l'inizio delle indagini preliminari. Lo scorso anno, la Corte distrettuale aveva autorizzato le intercettazioni richieste dal Servizio Speciale Investigativo e dall'Ufficio del Procuratore Generale.
