Mientras se inauguraba en Nueva York la treceava ronda de negociaciones del Tratado Transatlántico de Comercio e Inversiones (TTIP) el 25 de abril, una colalición de organizaciones instaron a las autoridades belgas a que se nieguen a firmar el primer tratado transatlántico, el Acuerdo Integral de Economía y Comercio (CETA), que se debatirá el 13 de mayo en el Consejo de Europa. Es posible que el gobierno valón vote en contra.
