El próximo abril, Roma abrirá su primer barrio para la prostitución, un área de la ciudad en la que la prostitución estará tolerada. Se contratará a trabajadores sanitarios y sociales para distribuir anticonceptivos y proteger a las prostitutas de la explotación y el tráfico. Los clientes que soliciten los servicios de prostitutas fuera del área asignada serán multados con una sanción de 500 €.
