El Parlamento lituano ha desvelado el nuevo Proyecto de Ley de lobby. Pretende evitar que se ejerza presión ilegalmente a beneficio de intereses privados. Sin embargo, la ley regula las actividades de las ONG como si fueran lobby y se aplica también a los empleados de las organizaciones no lucrativas. El lobby se define como ejercer presión a políticos, altos cargos o funcionarios para aprobar o rechazar proyectos legislativos. Tras la aprobación de dicha ley, sólo se permitirá hacer lobby a los miembros registrados que hayan firmado un compromiso con la Comisión Oficial Superior de Ética.
