La realidad de la crisis en Siria se ha traído a Europa gracias a una nueva habitación en la principal tienda de IKEA en Noruega. La habitación es una réplica de un hogar sirio real (25 metros cuadrados de paredes de hormigón y muebles escasos). Los pósters y las etiquetas de precios en la habitación cuentan la historia de los problemas de una típica familia siria, como la falta de comida, medicinas o agua limpia. Las etiquetas de precios también sirven como recibos para donaciones, ya que esta puesta en escena es una iniciativa para la recaudación de fondos con la Cruz Roja.
