El mismo primer ministro, Dacian Cioloș, elogió la estrategia para responder a las inquietudes del comisionado para los derechos humanos del Consejo de Europa, Nils Muižnieks. Mientras tanto, se presentaron 828 denuncias contra agentes de policía por comportamiento abusivo y maltrato en Rumania en 2015, pero solo un caso llegó a los tribunales.
