Como miembro de International Civil Liberties Organizations (INCLO), la Unión de Libertades Civiles de Hungría apoya la postura adoptada por la Asociación Canadiense de Libertades Civiles contra el proyecto de Ley antiterrorista de Canadá. La nueva legislación interfiere gravemente en la esfera privada, fortaleciendo considerablemente los poderes de las agencias de seguridad nacional para recoger y compartir información en secreto, sin establecer garantías adecuadas que compendan tales poderes.
