En el mundo penitenciario, es muy fácil que los detenidos pierdan el contacto con sus familias - de hecho, tienen derecho a hacer una sola llamada de 10 minutos por semana y un máximo de 6 horas de visitas al mes. La pérdida del contacto con la familia puede ser muy contraproducente, pues si esto sucede, "se pierde una motivación vital, dejan de tratar de cambiar y ser mejores personas". El documental fue realizado por Andrea Oleandri de Antigone y Andrea Gualtieri de Repubblica y montado por Paolo Saracino.
