Los diputados neerlandeses han votado a favor de la prohibición del uso del burka en algunos espacios públicos, incluidos los colegios y los hospitales. La votación, realizada el 29 de noviembre, es el último movimiento contra los velos integrales de los gobiernos europeos. En octubre, el parlamento búlgaro, aprobó una medida para prohibir los velos en público. La moción prohibe "toda indumentaria que cubra la cara completamente". Fue aprobada por 132 de 150 diputados, incluida la coalición del Primer Ministro, Mark Rutte. Ahora pasará al senado para su aprobación antes de convertirse en ley.
