La organización internacional de derechos humanos FIDH ha publicado un nuevo informe en el que detalla los ataques por parte del gobierno húngaro a los estándares democráticos y los derechos fundamentales. Esto ocurre desde que el primer ministro Viktor Orbán llegó al poder en 2010. FIDH insta al gobierno a parar este ataque y pide una reacción rápida y firme de la Unión Europea con la activación del Artículo 7 del Tratado de la Unión Europea (TUE), lo cual podría llevar a la suspensión en Hungría de los derechos que le confiere el tratado.
