Nawras, qui jouait pour l'équipe nationale syrienne de Basketball avant de devenir réfugié, a trouvé un nouveau chez soi à Bad Schallerbach, en Autriche. Quand ils vont faire les courses ensemble dans cette petite ville, Martina Schamberger le présente comme son propre fils.

"J'ai l'impression que c'est mon fils", explique fièrement Martina. "Il m'accepte. Il partage beaucoup de choses avec moi. Ça fait sept mois qu'on vit ensemble et on n'a jamais eu de grosse dispute".

Cette histoire fait partie d'une série intitulée "No Stranger Place", une création et des photographies de Aubrey Wade, en partenariat avec l'UNHCR, qui montrent les réfugiés et leurs hôtes en Europe.
