La Cour constitutionnelle de Roumanie a repoussé pour la 4ème fois sa décision dans une affaire de mariage gay, en l'attente d'un avis rendu par la CEJ. Cette affaire avait été portée par un couple gay marié en Belgique qui souhaitait voir leur mariage reconnu en Roumanie où le code civil interdit la reconnaissance d'autres types de familles qui sont juridiquement "formées" à l'étranger. La Cour a demandé à la CEJ si un couple gay marié à l'étranger pouvait être reconnu comme époux par la loi, en application du droit européen sur le regroupement familial avec un citoyen européen.
