En este documental, bajo producción tres años en el noreste de Hungría por el HCLU, aprendemos cómo la discriminación está presente en todos los aspectos de la vida de los romaníes, desde las desventajas en el mercado laboral hasta la discriminación manifestada por municipios, la policía y el sistema judicial. Somos testigos de cómo los crímenes de odio contra la población romaní son tolerados, y cómo la ley que se implementó originalmente para proteger a las minorías es en realidad utilizada en su contra. Por último, se muestra cómo la segregación de los niños romaníes en el sistema escolar húngaro asegura que la población romaní viva entre nosotros "sin oportunidad alguna."
