Una periodista ante la justicia: el caso de Marian Maciejewski

La condena por difamación de una periodista polaca fue un error judicial y violó su libertad de expresión, dictaminó el Tribunal Europeo de Derechos Humanos.

El Tribunal Europeo de Derechos Humanos emitió el pasado 13 de enero de 2015 un juicio sobre el delito de difamación y la libertad de expresión. En su decisión en el caso Maciejewski contra Polonia, el tribunal dictaminó que la condena por difamación de una periodista violó su derecho a la libertad de expresión, garantizado por el artículo 10 de la Convención Europea de Derechos Humanos. El Dr. Adam Bodnar y Dominika Bychawska-Siniarska, de la Fundación Helsinki para los Derechos Humanos, representan a la periodista.
