W poszukiwaniu osób sprzątających biuro ogłosiło, że poszukuje kandydatów narodowości holenderskiej. Instytut uważa, że takie wymagania są dyskryminacją wobec osób niebędących obywatelami Holandii. Zgodnie z Ustawą o równym traktowaniu, żadnego rodzaju wyróżnianie na podstawie narodowości w rekrutacji nie jest dozwolone, wyjątki stanowią przypadki uregulowane prawnie. Biuro pracy nie chciało udzielić żadnych dodatkowych informacji na temat rekrutacji.
